The exhibition “Churches of Alaska”

April 30, 2017 on Sunday the exhibition “Churches and monasteries of Alaska and Pennsilvania” will be opened at St.Catherine the Great Martyr Church.

The exposition will be presented by its organizers — Pogorelsky Mikhail and Ekaterina Bulycheva:

“A lot of things on the ground from a height looks different. More interesting and beautiful: natural landscapes, buildings, rivers and lakes, mist… But for us the most interesting are the churches and monasteries. The history embodied in architecture. These temples and monasteries represent all aspects of history: religious, architectural, economic, and technological. Photos from the sky give the opportunity to see and feel the charm of the ancient monuments.”
